A safe space
LGBTQIA+
since May 2018

A space where every young LGBTQIA+ person can feel safe and respected. Here, listening and kindness allow for rebuilding without fear of the judgement of others. More than just a place, it is a community where everyone finds their place and dignity.

Le Refuge, is

198 young people housed since 2018.
Integrated, personalised, and committed support.
A key player in the fight against discrimination.
Supported by our ambassador, Lukas Dhont.
A home to heal and restart.
A safe and caring environment.

Our partners.

Our partners play a vital role by providing their support through collaborations, funding, and concrete actions to offer a safer and more inclusive future for the young people we support.

To heal and rise again.

“I had to leave my family because things were said and done that I could not bear. Most of the time, we think we’re alone in this situation, that there’s no one to help us.

But at le Refuge, I found people who listened to me, who reached out to me. Here, I realised that I wasn’t alone and that even after difficult times, you can move forward.”
